cats! (status updates
Okay, so there's only one cat..but isn't it neato? I found this on someone else's blog (honeyb, very cute apparel and goods, and when I say goods I mean cat shaped pillows..I wish they'd make one that looked like my cat..but awesome stuff even if cat pillows isn't your thing ...check it here ) but anywho...I've got a lot of work I ought to be doing that I am not (story of my life) and I just keep finding more and more distractions (I've taken up and entered a love/hate relationship with an internationally beloved craft...expect a comic of it soon-ish.) Just till Wednesday. After Wednesday I will be done with finals and homeward bound. And then things will start making sense. By the way, I apparently got a lot of visits to the blog this past week...nice to meet ya'll, follow or subscribe to the feed and then you can, you know, just skim my posts and come over when you think I may be saying something interesting.

and now...a new comic!
Okay, this is one of many short pieces that I keep saying I'm going to post soon. It's just a rough copy though, obviously needs to be fixed up, but I just wanted to post something (you know the whole bark/bite thing). Also thought it might get me motivated to actually do something right now.
(click on it and it will pop up in life size...this was the biggest it would fit on the post, but is too small to read)

Oh and the first panel makes a lot more sense when it's put in context...but you're just going to have to wait. |

Am I old enough to say "I wish I were a kid again"?
Because if I am, I will. Looked through a file of pictures I nabbed off the computer of my parents house, which included a portfolio and some other random pictures that date back to me being in high school, which while I hated it at time, was a lot less work than college, hence the I wish I were a kid again. Just to be taking all of these pictures again.
This one is so simple, not fantastic composition or anything, but I really love it. |
Against Me! @ the Wiltern October 2008. One of my favourite concert pictures from one of my favourite bands. |
if you blow the original of this up really big, you can actually see butterflies in the branches |
Also from Against Me! show in 2008..I actually have this one above my bed. And yes, that's a stage-eye perspective. I never said I was a good kid... |
The (international) Noise Conspiracy, sometime in 2008. |
deer! |
Okay, I'll post more of the oldies later (still like 100 more to go through) because I've got a lot of papers to write and things to study for. I think if I can finish another page on my paper by 12:00, I'll let myself work on some comics. Yes, I know, when are these so-called comic materializing? Do they actually exist? Yes, and I'll put something up soon. As soon as I find my way to a scanner, I guess.

snow, unplugged
It's snowing, I am ecstatic.
Also, I'm now a photographer for a site that highlights all the musical goings on in Walla Walla. Here are a couple of pictures I took at tonight's unplugged, as in people playing non-electronically aided music in the complete dark. Not the easiest thing to take pictures of. If anyone wants to start a "Tori obviously needs a new digital camera fund" I'd be more than happy to be your charity case... This is of course a joke. With any luck I'll have a new (to me) camera of better quality by the holidays...
