updates

Sorry things have seemed a little slow around here, but I'm in the process of graduating and moving and the latter is rife with crummy wifi. If you're in Vienna, Graphikkinder's Make.aZINE exhibit started tonight, which is technically this morning for me still, but Away is one of the works on display/for sale so you if you go, please take a picture or something for me, because, hey that's fun. And if you can't make it to Vienna, you can always order Away here and feel like your sort of in on the big hullabaloo. And finally, more images on 48, of course.  New comics soon.

Test Strip Collage

Another year, and now the end. ¡Adios Whitman!

(also, new images up on 48)

May the Fourth Be with You (with a completely un-starwars post)

Two things:
1) It is free comic book day, which means after you go to your local store and snap up all the free titles and buy something too because we need more comic book stores so support them, download the FCBD 2013 My Name Is Jonah comic! I and a lot of other great artists are in it, and it's free.

2)There's a new batch of photos up on 48, take a looksee before they're gone.

Chainsaw Comics Preorder

I'm really pleased to announce that the second issue of Chainsaw Comics Anthology is now preoderable and contains a piece by yours truly! So buy it!

I am making everything a GIF

Working on 48.. has really inspired me to make more things GIFs. So enjoy this comic while I go make a GIF sandwich.

updates and new projects

So as you may/may not have noticed, there have been some changes to the site, including some new work posted. Most excitingly, my thesis show piece has been digitized, and will be available in weekly installments on toriholder48images.tumblr.com (follow now to not miss out). I've also been working on something for next Saturday's FCBD, as well as some other comics I have not yet finished. Oh, and playing around with cyanotypes. In short, I have been and will continue to be super busy so that you may have lovely things to look at. Cheers!

Squirrel

okay, so "squirrel" is one of those always looks like it's spelled wrong words. Also, not so fun fact, in the process of drawing this comic (been sitting on my desk for like 2 weeks) I actually had to host a squirrel funeral (this is the part where I tell you you need to be a)wearing protective gloves b) absolutely certain the squirrel is dead c)paying enough attention when crossing the street to retrieve the body so that you don't face the same fate as the squirrel...I had no mishaps related to these things, I just don't want someone to face inadvertent peril as a result of me suggesting that all sorts of creatures should have proper memorials)
